Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation

This foundation is relatively new on the market here in the UK. It is priced between £8.99 and £10.99 (depending on what offers your selected store is running!).

Now, the first thing I loved about this product is the smell. It smells of peaches, which is absolutely gorgeous. I have oily skin with a few spots dotted around, mainly on my cheeks and chin. I found that the foundation only partially covered the spots, it did offer better coverage when I let the first application dry, then added a second. I would say that the coverage offered is light/medium, however, it does not leave a shine and it does last all day.

They offer an excellent range of colours, I have number 15 which is the lightest tone, and I have very pale skin, so this is a great option for those who are very pale and have problems with foundation looking orange and cakey.

Overall, I think I would buy this product again, it would be excellent on someone who is looking for brighter skin and has no issues with acne. However, if you have a good foundation (I recommend Boing by Benefit), spots can be covered and this foundation does look great when applied.

I like the fact that Bourjois have finally incorperated paler colours into their range, as I have often struggled to find the perfect match for my skin, but this foundation does the trick. This gets the thumbs up from me and a seven and a half out of ten!
